THE OSV STORY — ANDREA

In 2018 OSV became more than just a secondhand store—it became a passion project. When I, Andrea, first took over the store, I saw the potential to create a space where fashion could be both sustainable and stylish. The goal wasn’t just to sell clothes but to build a community of people who cared about the stories behind the pieces they wore. 

 

From the very beginning, OSV was about more than fashion—it was about a mindset. Each item in the store is carefully selected not only for its quality and uniqueness but for the journey it’s been on. For me, fashion has always been about expression, but it’s also about responsibility.

 

OSV is a carefully curated secondhand store, focused on creating an inspiring, playful, safe, and welcoming space for everyone to enjoy the experience of secondhand shopping. Our goal is to provide a place where people can discover something special while embracing a more sustainable way of shopping. Giving clothes a second life means contributing to a more sustainable future, one piece at a time.

 

Over the years, OSV has grown into a space where people can feel good about the choices they make, knowing that they’re supporting a more thoughtful and eco-friendly approach to fashion. We’ve been incredibly lucky to have the support of our community, which has helped shape our journey. Our goal has always been to offer curated collections that reflect both timeless and modern styles, but with a focus on sustainability.

 

When you walk into OSV, you’re not just buying clothes—you’re investing in pieces that have been loved before and still have so much life left in them. Each rack is filled with handpicked treasures that tell their own stories, and we’re proud to offer that to our customers.

This past summer, OSV welcomed a new creative force—Julie. She joined me as co-owner and creative director, bringing fresh energy and vision. This partnership feels like a natural evolution for OSV.  Julie and I have always shared a passion for secondhand fashion, but she brings a creative spark that has elevated our vision for the store. Julie has an incredible eye for style and has helped us reimagine how secondhand clothing can be presented. Together, we’ve been working on taking OSV to new heights. 

 

We want to foster a circular and conscious work environment within the team and in our surroundings. It’s important to us that the atmosphere is sustainable and healthy for everyone—our team and our customers. Collaboration and mutual support are at the heart of what we do. At OSV, we aim to build a comfortable environment that encourages sustainable living and one where everyone feels welcomed and included.

 

A New Chapter - Expanding OSV

With this shared vision, we’re excited to open our new store. This expansion represents everything OSV stands for—sustainable fashion, a commitment to quality, and a dedication to our community. It’s not just an expansion; it’s a place where we can showcase even more curated collections and give our customers a more immersive experience.

 

The Future of OSV 

As we open the doors to this new location we’re deepening our commitment to the values that brought us here. Sustainability will always be at the heart of what we do, and we’ll continue to bring our community the best in secondhand fashion in both stores.
